Velvet Revolution

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the beginning of peaceful student demonstrations against communist rule in Prague, Czechoslovakia. These demonstrations culminated to become the Velvet Revolution, which achieved its ultimate goal of overthrowing the communist government on December 29.
